Night Guard is a customise transparent sheet which cover your upper or lower teeth.
Wearing the Night Guard will prevent further damage to your
teeth.
Indications-
1)Bruxism-
-Voluntary bruxism (in those person who habitually
chew gum, tobacco
objects such as tooth pics or pencils)

-Involuntary bruxism(night grinding)
2)Burning Mouth Syndrome- to cover irregularities of the
occlusion
3)Parafunctional Habits- wearing Night Guard will reduce the opportunity for thrusting & wedging the tongue against the teeth.
4)Before fabrication of a Removable partial denture when one
of the abutment teeth has been unopposed for an extended period. To return some
functional stimulation to the tooth.
5)Full Mouth Rehab cases- Occlusal splint uses in
Reestablishing occlusal Relationships & to prevent
damage to the restorations.
Preacautions-
-Make Night Guard either
upper or lower.
-Night Guard should not be worn for more than 12 hrs a day.
